Congrats to Bob and Pat Fogal of East Norriton for being the big winners of our 10/11 Season Restaurant Raffle! They will be enjoying a “Dinner for Two” to each of our 10 restaurant sponsors and have been kind enough to share their delicious experiences with us all.

How wonderful to enjoy delicious food served in portions that don’t require doggy bags! That’s just one of several aspects that make Stella Blu a great dinner destination.
The menu offers the option of full meals or “small plates” along with appetizers, soups, salads, and deserts. For starters, Pat had the roasted beet salad which included prosciutto di parma, crumbled goat cheese, chili-dusted pepitas, and olive oil. Bob had the escarole white bean soup.
For entrees we both went for the “small plates.” Pat had a grilled flatbread topped with goat cheese, prosciutto di parma, oven dried tomatoes, lemon dressed arugula and shaved parmesan. Bob had the grilled baby octopus with chorizo sausage, caramelized onions, and saffron potatoes. Desert was a shared a piece of key lime pie.
We plan to try many other items on the eclectic Mediterranean/Italian dishes on the menu. You can plan ahead because the menu is on the web site. In addition to the sheer tastiness of our dinners, a super-attentive wait staff delivered our attractively presented selections.
And an especially appealing aspect of the ambiance is that we did not have to lean across the table to hear each other speak. This added to our enjoyment as we looked around and shared observations about the funky décor.
All in all, a superb dining experience that we highly recommend!
